Medium deep ruby red colour. Intense nose of some new oak, smoke, mild spices, vanilla, clove and sweet red fruit. The palate has medium weight still with an oaky presence but generous spiciness and generous sweet fruit, good length, ripe and rounded, with lush fruit and a slight tannic hint on the finish. Has potential but should still get some time.
