Weingut Dr Heger – v B – 2012

Light to medium ruby red. The nose is quite roasted and smoky with generous amounts of new oak and wild berries. The palate is rather full with youthful but balanced tannin, quite generous oak right now but it should integrate, layers of cherry, raspberry and mild spices with balanced acidity and a long, rich finish.
