Intense dark inky purple colour. Profound aromas of smoked meat, inky dark fruit, crème de cassis, tobacco and pain d’épices. The palate is dense and concentrated with fine proportions, plenty of finely grained tannins and an underlying fresh acidity, crushed blackberry and cassis flavours with smoked meat and a very long spicy finish.
