Inky dark garnet core and hue. Ripenose offering plump dark fruit, plum, blackcherry, tobacco and sweet spices, with a rather mild oak note. Dense and concentrated palate, yet well balanced with a sense of freshness underneath, modest extraction even if the ripeness is high, generous crushed dark berry flavours with cocoa bean, anis and liquorice notes with a long and meaty finish.
