Intense dark purple colour. Some new oak, ripe dark fruit like blackberry, cassis, pepper and liquorice notes. Nice density on the palate, youthful texture with high tannin, yet a fine grain, meaty and peppery dark fruit with good substance and length, should improve really well, yet already approachable.
