Inky almost black colour with a lighter rim. Ripe black fruit, cassis, liquorice, leather and dried herbs. Quite massive palate, plenty of tannin, youthful but ripe with layers of spicy fruit, clove, pepper and floral notes, long and unctuous finish, still youthful but with potential for further development.
