Portugal,
Peninsula de Setubal,
Youthful with a medium towards deep ruby-red colour. Quite open and generous nose. I would say, slightly more traditional style. Fruit-forward with plum, and crushed berry fruit. Some balsamic notes in a positive sense. Quite a traditional style there. Slight hint of oak. Nice juiciness on the palate. There is still quite a wealth of tannin, but it feels like it is just about to start to integrate. On the finish, it is not really harsh they just give a lot of lift to the palate. Juicy fruit here. Combines red and dark fruit. A mild spiciness. Medium towards long finish. A wine that should be easily drinkable from next year and onwards.
