Open and generous with high ripeness, more on the red fruity side with plum, cherry and cassis underlined by a fine oak-derived spiciness – butterscotch, clove, cinnamon and mild toast. Dense but not with the weight of the Grand Vin, yet still delivering layers, nuance and volume with grainy tannin, a rounded acidity, supple texture with flavours of freshly crushed fruit, a generous dry spiciness, and long rounded finish.
