Inky dark core and hue, purple and bright. Pure nose offering modern ripe fruit, fine oak and butterscotch, cassis, dark plum and some floral notes. Good grip and volume, dense young fruit, ripe extract, yet a profusion of grainy tannins, savoury dark fruit flavours with fine oak balance and a long lingering finish.
