Dark purple core and a lighter rim. Sweet nose of plum, ripe berries, tobacco and dry spices. Rather dense palate, youthful texture with a firm tannic grip, sweet fruit flavours, fine spiciness with leather, tobacco and fairly long finish. Still needing some time to soften.
