Inky dark purple core and hue. Pure and intense nose offering chalk, truffle, wild berries, some oak-derived spice, and butterscotch. Good density and weight with a modest extraction, ripe and texture-giving tannin, savoury dark fruit with hints of clove, pepper and chalk, integrated oak in the background, followed by a long and muscular finish.
