Inky dark purple core and hue. Pure aromas of freshly crushed blackcurrant, dark cherry, plum, sage, tobacco and some new oak. The palate shows classic medium weight with dense young fruit and a fresh acidity, ripe extract and tannin, savoury dark fruit and fairly long persistence.
