Dark garnet core and hue. Pure and youthful nose blending discreet oak and toast, wild berries, cassis, plum, and tobacco leaf. The palate shows good density but modest extraction, ripe and digest tannin, rather sweet fruit yet remaining dry, no cool vintage character evident, good persistency and finish.
