Château Mons Delaunay – 2009
Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux
France,
Bordeaux,
Very dense ruby/purple core with an aged rim. Intense and modern nose of roasted oak, coffee, mocha, dark berries and tobacco. The palate has a high concentration, plenty of tannin that has started to integrate, very ripe and smoky dark fruit, graphite, leather and a long, opulent, smoky finish, well made in a modern style, can still develop but offers a nice drinkability in this rich, modern style right now.
