France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep colour, ruby-red nuance. Attractive nose, good purity. Quite a lot of ripe fruit here. There is a hint of roasted oak, but it is dominated by really ripe blackberry, also with some floral hints in the direction of violet, rose petal. I would say a certain earthiness or minerality. Good flavour intensity here. It is clearly above the medium weight. Quite good density of fruit here. Still with a youthful extract. It is quite high level of acidity and a lot of powdery tannin. Really attractive and juicy fruit. Those dark blackberries with good level of acidity. There is a hint of spiciness as well. Slight presence of oak on the palate. With some vanilla, clove, pepper. Good substance on the finish. Quite long and lingering. It seems like a quite young wine, but I think this one should be approachable in the coming one to two years. The last tannic sensation should have integrated and then it will easily have a quite long life ahead of it.
