Deep ruby with a slightly paler rim. Pure nose, still rather youthful offering dark fruit, cassis, plum, liquorice and sage. The palate is dense and concentrated, still with a tannic presence but no hard edges, dense dark fruit and spicy liquorice notes, well integrated oak and a long dense finish.
