Inky dark garnet with a lighter rim. The nose is still youthful with layers of ripe dark fruit, fine spice, clove, vanilla, mild oak and floral hints. The palate is dense and concentrated, vigorous with a youthful yet ripe texture, plenty of crushed dark berries, tobacco and fine oak derived spiciness. Long and concentrated finish. Ambitious and well made, a big wine to keep for another few years.
