France,
Armagnac,
Medium deep amber colour with a copper hue. Still quite youthful nose with notes of oak, vanilla, pepper, candied orange, dried fruit and some grapey notes. The palate has a youthful bite, warm but balanced alcohol, nutty notes with hazelnut, almond and dried fruit, rather long on the finish. Nice but still not with the complexity of a mature Armagnac, still enjoyable for its bite and fruitiness.
