Developed colour here with a light to medium intense ruby-red. Starting to lose a bit on the rim. Rather tawny brick. The nose is developed as well. So I start with the certain conclusion that this is a quite traditional style. Prolonged ageing in oak. Quite elegant here. With a fine mix of wild berry fruit. More red fruit. I would say moderate ripeness. Quite layered. Good nuance here. With fine hints of spice box. Slight touch of leather and some floral components as well. Good balance on the palate here. Rather a full structure. But loosely textured here. Really the emphasis here is that ample red fruit. There is a good backbone but really fine tannin here. Really grainy adding a good sensation of freshness. Also adding to the persistence here. So attractive fruit. Certain maturity here, not very old. But still a good level of drinkability today, I would say. Really nicely polished. Long and lingering finish. With an approaching complexity. Layers of sweet red fruit, fines spices. Slight hint of tobacco. Really well-made, I enjoy it tremendously right now. It feels like it is already a quite stable wine that should have a long life ahead of it.
