Switzerland,
Valais,
Red wine with a medium towards deep ruby-red core, still rather youthful on the rim as well. Discrete on the nose, leaving some gentle notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and sweet plum. Good grip on the palate, very juicy, very fruit-driven in terms of texture, finely grained tannins already well-integrated. Medium-high acidity, and layers of that crushed berry fruit, with some notes of plum and very mild spices. Good volume, well rounded, with a medium towards long finish. Generous, in a fruit-driven, forward, quite drinkable style.
