Dense dark purple core. Ripe nose with layers of dark fruit like blackberry, cassis and sweet spices. Dense palate with a hint of mild oak in the background, high but polished tannins, well-preserved acidity, spicy, weighty and long finish. Well built, still youthful and potent for long ageing.
