Inky dark purple core and hue. Pure and layered nose, mild oak underneath, highly ripe, yet fresh dark fruit - blackberry, cassis, cherry, wild herbs, sage and tobacco notes. The palate is concentrated with a modest extraction, ripe tannin giving lift a fresh acidity underneath with sweet and dark fruit, finely spicy and nuanced with a very long and lingering finish.
