Medium deep ruby red with a slight purple hue. The nose is pure and generous offering darker berries with ripe plum, clove, pepper and tobacco. The palate is rather dense but with a polished extract, rather high but fine tannin, I like the layered spiciness with pepper, clove, tobacco and juicy dark fruit. Already enjoyable but should develop well too.
