Austria,
Burgenland,
Red wine with a moderate intensity here, medium deep ruby-red, good brightness. Fine nose. Good purity of fruit here. Intense aromas of red fruit, such as raspberry, red plum, a hint of apricot. Some sweet spices such as clove, cinnamon. I kind of like it. Good grip on the palate. It is a medium weight. Considering the variety, I think it is obviously in the direction of Pinot Noir. I would put it in the fuller spectrum. It does have a good backbone of quite a lot of tannin, but I think they are finely integrated here. The texture is rounded and I like the juiciness of the fruit. Quite mellow acidity. Fine, what I would call Austrian spiciness. Really delicious juicy, raspberry fruit. Good length there is some oak presence as well that should easily integrate in the coming years, but it is not obtrusive in any way. Yeah, juicy and attractive with an approaching complexity. Easily with the potential in the coming four to five years.
