Austria,
Burgenland,
Medium deep ruby-red colour. The nose offers some roasted oak, with quite sweet red fruit flavours, a hint of confiture or jammed berries with mild spices, hint of toastiness. The palate has medium weight. It is a quite rounded texture with soft fruit indicating a slight hint of sweetness on the palate. Rounded tannin, quite mellow acidity as well. Really appearing soft and juicy at this stage. There is still a slight hint of presence of oak on the palate, but not in an obtrusive way. It just adds a bit of toast on the finish. Medium long aftertaste. A wine that I would prefer to drink quite early on.
