Dense purple core with a lighter rim. Intense nose with high ripeness, layers of dark fruit like blackberry, cassis, cherry with finely roasted oak, dry spices and liquorice. The palate is very dense and concentrated with high extract, but no hard edges, starting to soften it seems, very long and grippy with generous oak, well balanced for the style, should continue to develop well.
