Spain,
Catalunya,
Red wine with a quiet profound colour here, dark ruby at the core, but the rim indicating a certain age. The nose also has some evolution, has a hint of complexity there, with fine spicy notes; leather, tobacco and a wealth of ripe, dark berries. Good density and weight on the palate. Broad shouldered in terms of structure. It feels like a wine that has gotten a certain maturity and particularly because the tannins are quiet well dissolved already. Quiet powdery background of tannin like coco powder, with ripe dark plum and crushed berries. Long finish as well, has a lot there. It starts out with this sweet fruitiness, but on the finish there is much more of those leather, tobacco notes and fine spices. So a wine that is perfectly drinkable today, it has gotten a certain complexity thanks to aging and plenty of stuff in there.
