Medium deep ruby with a tawny rim. Pure, intense and alluring perfume of wild strawberry, plum, ripe cherry, truffle, ginger, clove, cocoa bean, tobacco and ash with a mild oak-derived spiciness underneath. The palate shows tremendous power and concentration, with an impressively silky texture, powdery tannins, and layers of sweet fruit, yet it remains' dry with plenty of tantalizing spiciness. Still a youthful example but very complete and harmonious with impressive purity, power and mind-blowing length.
