Parusso – Bussia Riserva Vigna Rocche – 2016
Barolo
Italy,
Piedmont,
Medium deep ruby red with a pale rim. It shows an intense perfume that blends truffle, rose hips, chalk, wild berries, macerated cherry and a hint of fine ash/smoke with mild oak in the background. Intense and powerful palate, structured and broad with finely melted, yet present and texture-giving tannin, paired with sweet red fruit flavours, praline, sweet spice and mild butterscotch. Harmonious in a bold style with plenty of layers and an impressive length and finish.
