Dense dark core turning from purple towards garnet. Pure and intense nose showing earthy, chalky and truffle notes, with spicy liquorice, violet, wild berries and ripe blackberry. The palate shows good density and concentration with plenty of stuffing, yet a modest extraction, rather Burgundian texture, with floral and sweet fruit, chalky and truffle notes, textured and silky with a long lingering finish.
