Dark garnet core, a slight purple hue. Pure nose, open in a “natural” style but within the frames of purity, slightly balsamic, with layers of sweet fruit – crushed raspberry, blackberry, ginger, clove, chalk, tobacco, and floral hints. Dense palate with a finely rounded texture, grainy tannin, savoury fruit and good harmony between extract, fruit and an underlying acidity, complex and nuanced with a long lingering finish.
