Bright light golden with a copper hue and vivid effervescence. Pure nose offering chalk, hazelnut, ripe citrus, lemongrass and darker red fruity notes with some autolytic character and a slight presence of fine oak. Good grip and layers, well-integrated oak adding complexity and texture, crisp acidity, classic dosage-level, yet feeling "drier" on the finish with good layers of ripe pinot, crisp chardonnay flavours well balanced with good level of persistency and potential.
