France,
Champagne,
Bright medium deep golden with a copper hue and rather mellow mousse. Pure and intense with some evolution, chalky and nutty with predominantly darker fruit notes, plum, pear, raspberry, gingerbread spice and autolytic pastry and nougat notes. The palate starts out with a sweet impression but gets drier towards the finish in a positive way, bright acidity yet good ripeness level blending darker pinot and zestier chardonnay with fine autolytic and maturity notes, mild creamy backbone and a long lingering finish, distinct and personal, rather grower style with fine potential.
