Inky dark purple core with a lighter mature rim. Layered and complex nose offering a myriad of red and dark fruits, cassis, violet, licorice, clove, pepper, and mild oak in the background. Ample and concentrated palate with plenty of stuffing, ripe but present tannin, dense and ripe fruit, yet with a good backbone of freshness, long, muscular and meaty finish with plenty of spice.
